I'm new to blogging, as you can probably tell, so feel free to leave me some love!!

So... I'm 30-something, partner to a wonderfully crazy guy who must be partially insane, mother to a gorgeous baby girl who will probably turn out to be partially insane, full time employee,  music lover, red-wine addict, oh yea and driven half demented by the constant battle with housework!

This blog is about my life as a mother, my baby girl, the endless struggle to shift baby weight (what, it doesn't just dissolve into thin air?), those mad moments that happen out of nowhere that you could never have predicted (like am I really scrubbing poo off the carpet 6 whole feet away from the nappy changer?), and the daily confusion that goes with becoming a mother.  I'm hoping that I'll get there one day.
